YAAG Community Service Fellowship Program

 The Yale Alumni Association of Greenwich sponsors summer internships for Yale students at organizations that provide community service in Greenwich and surrounding areas.  Recent YAAG Community Service Fellows are listed below:

Summer of 2017 - Lauren Tucker, Ezra Stiles College, Class of 2018

Lauren is from Fullerton, California.  She is a History of Art major and a pre-med student, interested in pursuing a career in museum education or conservation.  Lauren spent the summer working at the Bruce Museum, teaching multiple museum programs, working public events, and conducting her own research project on on visitor ineratction in the museum's permant science exhibit.

Summer of 2016 - Luke Hellum, Saybrook College, Class of 2019

Luke is from Pelham, NY.  He spent the summer working at the Greenwich Library, serving as a technology intern.  His responsibilities included teaching workshops, training staff, assisting patrons, and revamping internal adminstrative systems.  Luke's personal statement about his summer internship is provided in the link below.

Summer of 2015 - Cindy Xue, Jonathan Edwards College, Class of 2017

Cindy worked at All Our Kin, an organization that trains, supports, and sustains community child care providers in Bridgeport, New Haven, Norwalk, and Stamford.  All Our Kin was founded by two Yale graduates: Jessica Sager, LAW '99, and Janna Wager, '95.  For her summer internship, Cindy assisted founder Janna Wagner in codifiying the best practices of the education consultation model that comprises the heart of the support services All Our Kin offers to its network of family child care providers.
